'I consider myself so lucky to have found Mae Collard. She is a highly qualified teacher...and has brought my children along so far in such a short time. It’s great to see children grasp important fundamentals, such as Estill voice training and vocal health, and grow rapidly in competence and confidence. She is also personally delightful – kind, encouraging, and infectiously enthusiastic. She has an incredible knack for tapping into individual children’s passions and supports them whatever their approach or challenges. Lessons are tailored to each child...and thoughtful suggestions are made that really help children overcome any nerves to learn to love music and performance. Mae is a gem, and my young son and daughter adore their lessons with her.'
The sessions with [student] are going so well. It gladdens my heart to see him happy, laughing and building in confidence already...It's great to see how removing expectations about what he will do, when, how and why and letting him explore works like magic for him.
I would like to acknowledge that we hold our music lessons and perform on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and I wish to pay my respects to the elders past, present and emerging.
